Tornado missed me

A tornado touched down in Manhattan KS, possibly even on the K-State campus (not confirmed yet). But it missed me, thankfully.

Update: KSU press release. The building where I work was damaged, and the mail server there is still down, so I don't know any details. I am darkly amused that the Wind Erosion Lab was blown away, though....

Another update: Well, classes are cancelled, so I get to juggle my syllabus. Summer classes don't have a lot of room for changes, though. At least the lab schedule has some wiggle room...I guess everyone gets to have labs on July 3 after all.

Glad for that last detail. :) Hope nobody was hurt.

Glad you're okay!

We're okay too. But it us hard. Am still listening to damage reports -- no casualties so far, but Waters True Value has been leveled.

On the one hand, glad you aren't injured or anything.

On the other hand, sucks that you missed out on your ticket to the land of Oz. }:-{D

Yikes.

If, however, someone can give you a fully functional explanation of how tornadoes are the missing piece in the Grand Unification Equation, I think they should get a free A on a test or something.

Good luck...
