"Only" 7-8 inches of snow
Every public and private school in the area is closed. Fort Riley is on a two hour delay. Kansas University, Washburn University and Emporia State University (I think, the scroll flashed past it a bit quickly) are closed.
Kansas State University? Open. Whee. Will update assuming I don't get in an accident driving to work.
Edit: Made it in okay. Parking lot at home was unplowed, but the "virgin" snow is fairly easy to drive on. Streets were plowed between me and work. Parking lot at work was unplowed, and had been driven over enough times to utterly lose its virginity...took me a minute of spinning my tires at 20mph to make it up a 5 meter or so gradual slope at the entrance of the lot (and yeah, after I made it up I realized I probably should've engaged manumatic and downshifted to 1st gear). All the TAs with 7:30 classes made it. I do expect a lot of students to take this as their dropped lab, though.
