Oh HELL no.

Current forecast projections put the band of worst snowfall right on top of Manhattan KS. NINE INCHES forecast to fall by morning.

Well, at least we avoided having freezing rain all day, which could have happened.

They're predicting the worst parts around here could get by evening tomorrow.

So shut up. :)

Yeah, my mom called up just after I posted and pointed that fact out. But you're in Wisconsin, it's normal there. :) Towns around here have already used up their snow clearing budget for the season on December's hammerblows.

Twenty inches in less than twenty-four hours is not normal for us. :) However, I will grant that there's still salt for the trucks and money for the plows, etc.

Looks like I picked the wrong Wednesday to go back to work. Oy.

See if you can melt some of it down and ship it to NC, we need the water...

So. Is this in pornish inches or real world inches?

Cause, the "three inches of snow" we were supposed to get here, never happened, though we did get some lovely ice underneath the inch or so ... but lately we've been having Real Cold Weather instead.

They're saying the band of heaviest stuff could wobble, and it's narrow enough that it wouldn't need to wobble much to ruin someone else's day. But someone in Kansas is getting nailed with nine real world inches, most likely. I'd rather it wobble in whatever direction doesn't mess with comic shipments, though. ;)

Meanwhile, we're having mid-spring weather.

It got up to 76 here today. Seriously.

I gave your mom 9 inches by morning.

Sure, 35mm at a time. That's why it took until morning.

We got a bunch of heavy wet snow (my arms are still numb from shovelling it), with more to come tonight.
