...stranded WHAT?

Headline News covering the storms in Northern California, anchor wasn't reading the teleprompter very carefully, and said, "...and the Red Cross is opening shelters for stranded terrorists...." o_O

Well, that explains Fresno.

At NC State, we had a thing called the 'Free Expression' tunnel where you could do anything you wanted up to and including spray paint, with no repercussions. Me and a few people once painted part of it plain old white just to be contrary.

Maybe we should make a 'free terrorism' area, somewheres in the uninhabited part of Glacier national Park, where they can conduct all their suicidal stupidity safely away from others! We'll have to mop it every so often...

I'm still waiting for the day when Bin Laden yells at his followers, over one MINOR mis-spelling in a memo, he never gets ANY Disney-World pictures, and they seem to have gone totally bonkers.

Must be a Fox News reporter. They see terrorists everywhere.

Proof that they talk about terrorism way too much. :)

Oh look, I'm a stranded terrorist!

Ha-ha! As a Northern Californian nearly stranded on my way in to work...
Please tell me someone recorded that and has posted to youtube.

Sadly, probably not. And she didn't catch herself or anything, so it wasn't really blooperable (bloopers require that embarrassed reaction as the anchor realizes they misspoke). Obviously, "tourist" was what she was supposed to say.

I thought maybe she meant "stranded motorists".

That could be it too. Either way, I'm pretty sure that what came out of her mouth sounded more like "terrorist" than anything else. ;)
