Note: leaving aside that Optimus Prime is not a standard truck by any definition, quite a few semis haul many different varieties of trailer during their lifetime. An independent hauler might well have a headache rack just on the off chance that a load will be flatbed or log/pipe trailer.
Also- living in a major timber area- headache racks are standard for trucks using log trailers, which fold up over the fifth wheel when not loaded. The shaft connecting the front end of the trailer to the rear axles bends in two and rests on top of the headache rack. Just a side note, that.
I might have one more small detail to add about Wreckage: you can peg the combined sword into one of the wheels on his arms to make a wacky spinning blade.
You'll probably be disappointed with the Voyager Megatron as well. A lot of "ice chunks", his fingers stick out unattractively in vehicle mode, and the jet's "nose" hangs off his left arm (and not even in a way that looks like it can be wielded as a cannon!). Especially if you're a purist for visual accuracy, you may not be too happy with it.
The instructions seem almost deliberately vague when it comes to "combining" the arms into fusion cannon mode. The only real guide is the inset picture of the cannon on the back of the box, which shows that the right forearm piece just stays folded out of the way. There's no attempt to make it line up with the left forearm piece, which is what becomes the cannon "barrel".
Not much. Just unscrew the forearms and swap it. Just be careful with the folding gun arm, so pieces don't get lost. The trigger in the claw arm even has a tab to install the spring on.

Also, depending on how yours turns out, you may want to apply a little nail polish or superglue to tighten the joints on the folding cannon afterwards. Some have said their cannon stays nice and tight, some say it's way too floppy. Mine was somewhere in the middle and a tiny bit of polish worked wonders.
Okay, spent a while trying to find the spring when I dropped it on the floor, but it works pretty well now. It can't actually drag the chain out, though.
