I quite liked this ep. The blended Ollie Queen (rich industrialist mixed with Chaotic Good crusader who will kick your ass into getting off your own ass and doing the right thing) really works for me. But my favorite part of the ep was...

When Lois looks at the ring at the end of the pre-credits teaser and we hear a (maybe slightly modified) Batman theme sting. Da da da DAAAAAAA dummmm....


Postscript: Got a flu shot today. "Enjoying" flu-like symptoms and injection site pain. Whee. At least I won't get the real thing on top of everything else. :)

It seems like the Batman plotline that Millar and Gough always wanted to do is now being down with Green Arrow instead.

It's much better than the Adam Knight plot from season 3.

I'm taping it Sunday. Wonder if Black Canary will show up...can't have Ollie without Dinah! And I shall be sorely disappointed if we never see a boxing-glove arrow.

I like what they're doing with Ollie, I think my only gripe was that he used the "hi-tech targeting reticule" in his glasses to fire that zipline arrow. Gadgets, sure, but no way does Ollie need computer assisted targeting. Minor gripe, but gripe nonetheless. Looking forward to the Justice League ep.
