My one comment about the 9/11 anniversary

I am disappointed, but not surprised, that Fred Phelps (of godhatesfags.com infamy) chose to protest today. I am also unsurprised that he picked the Flight 93 memorial rather than anywhere in New York City...he may be a poltroon and scalawag, but he's not stupid enough to try anything in NYC. They'd probably run him out of town on a rail. A THIRD rail.

Do you think anyone would be a witness if some person would shoot him in broad daylight in the middle of a sold-out baseball stadium?

Yes. He always has a posse of like-minded asshats with him.

So the person in question would have to restort to napalm cleansing?

Isn't "witnessing" the whole schtick?

Yes, I did a born again joke.

Don't slip in the afterbirth.

Fred Phelps has only escaped being prosecuted under the anti-gangsterism laws because he has the front of being a religious figure.

What we really need is a change in how religious exemptions are treated.
And that's said from the point of view of a religious person.

Yeah, but he tried that shit in NY, there's guys that don't CARE about witnesses. And what jury in NYC would convict?
