First Looks for August 16

Slow week next week (unless I get a bunch of delayed books all at once), but since I'm going to be busy at work Wednesday night, I read the two books in the FL pile that I was planning to get. (I also read Annihilation #1 off the shelf, didn't care for it.)

   Marvel Adventure Avengers #4: Marvel - Another excellent story from Parker with good art from Garcia. Strongly recommended. $2.99/$3.75Cn

   Retro Rocket #3: Image - A bit of a darker turn, and a setup for a potentially deus ex machina ending (pun intended). Bedard slows down for some characterization and maybe a tiny bit of politics. Recommended. $2.99/$3.40Cn

For certain values of "okay", yes. She's still alive, but not exactly thrilled with her situation.
