Partially Iron Ants
Okay, I bought one and brought it home for some testing. Turns out only the legs and antennae are iron, the rest is some sort of resin/plastic. The bad news, no mounting magnets on it. The good news, easy enough to glue things on, or even drill holes and install magnets of your own.
The tag calls it "ant statuary" in the Global home line. 4" high, 9.25" long, 7" wide. Tossing it on my scale, I find it's 1 lb 10 oz, or 738 g. All painted a matte black...for now. Muhahahaha!
