Usage monitors are fun things. For instance, since June the most popular search string to get to www.dvandom.com has been "Hello Kitty". Before that, it was Megas XLR (I did a picture of Omega Supreme with a NanoBlok car in place of its head as OMegas XLR), and before that the site was too new to get more than a few dozen search engine pings a month.
For other instance, posting my drawing of Kestrel as a superhero to the Queen of Wands LJ community has resulted in the sixth highest referrer for the month being that LJ community (and it's only been up for half of the available time), after image crawlers, myspace and direct referral. :)
