Whoa, I joined your f-list just in time for some sad news.

Unfortunately, because of my years in the bookstore, I have to admit that although I am a (mostly former) gamer, the first thought that comes into my head when I hear the name Gary Gygax is an author of truly terrible novels.

And honestly Greyhawk was not that great of a background for D&D, but you know...it was generic enough to not be offensive.

Yeah, EGG hasn't been relevant for a while now, and he never was that GOOD, but like a lot of pioneers he only had to be good ENOUGH, and bold enough to push it forward.
