Could be worse....
Today, it was 62F at 8 AM, and nearly topped 70F in the afternoon. Tomorrow the high temp will be at 8 AM or so...about 40F. Dropping below freezing by 3 PM, with heavy wind.
Could be worse, at least for inobservant students. The forecast for tomorrow as of yesterday was that it'd be 62F at 8 AM tomorrow too, and THEN drop to below freezing, thus utterly hosing any students who came to class in shorts and t-shirts.
Also, it looks like we'll dodge the actual ice storm part of the forecast for Wednesday night. Although the wind chill at 8 AM Thursday is supposed to be about 5F, which in Celsius translates to OH F*** ME. Time to see how good my new car is at cold weather starts.
